UNCOVERING ISSUES: An airline subscribes to NexGen Insights, surveys 5000 staff globally, with data collected and analysed within 1 month. The deep dive identifies a clear issue with trust in management amongst GenZ across the organisation. Messages and vision-setting are being given by management but are not being heard or engaged with.

IMPACT: Suggestions are made by GenZ within the assessment, and workshops held. From this, two clear changes are made – increased town hall meetings, and an online chat area to engage the newer employees on some specific issues. With its NGI subscription, the airline runs the assessment again 6 months later and identifies the impact of the changes, seeing a clear improvement in trust amongst GenZ.

UNCOVERING ISSUES: An ANSP subscribes to NexGen Insights and runs the survey across 3000 people. Positives are identified. The ANSP uses some of the data to benchmark itself against peers who have also run NGI.

IMPACT: Data and analysis into public sector compensation and satisfaction is used for discussions within government, giving better comparators against aviation peers and more effective decision making supporting the sustainability of the company.

It uses NGI to survey the GenZ workforce twice annually, identifying trends and clarifying causal factors. Specific personality types are shown to struggle at the airport, particularly amongst workers (non-management), linked to their feeling of support and inclusion.

IMPACT: A series of actions are identified to address the situation, based on best practice in other airports and benchmarked effectiveness. These are implemented and evaluated over time, with the airport aiming to continuously improve in this area.
